Andrews answer is very good as long as you limit your Q to what you can do within BIAB - but what is your endproduct gonna be? Is it a midifile or sheetmusic or a full orchestral score or a demoproduction that you will record and mix in let us say Logic 9, Pro Tools 8 or Cubase 5? I understand your Q, but the answers you will get, differs a lot from what you are aiming at. Is it a schoolproject for educational purposes I would do it differently then a demoproduction where time costs money...

Sometimes I uses modified styles and do two different rendered midifiles that I import to Pro Tools after eachother, not because it's the clever and right way to do it - but it takes a lot less time and right now I have to right a song a week, so I can't fool around and do everything by the book...
