OP Arturotrumpets Enthusiast A Joined: Sep 2020 Posts: 17	This Win update is almost like a new install. And now BIAB v.722 64bit is hanging at startup for about 3 or 4 minutes. then starts to respond. 32bit version starts & runs perfectly. Just thought I'd mention it. Love to all.

Andrew - PG Music PG Music Staff Joined: May 2002 Posts: 7,729 Victoria, BC	Interesting, I installed this update on three of my computers a few weeks ago and I haven't had any problem like that. Put a text file called "writebootuplog.txt" in the C:\bb\data folder. When you boot the program it will create bootuplog.txt which should show us where the problem is. Also, do you have any anti-virus software running on your computer? Andrew PG Music Inc.

I never tweak ANYTHING. Whatever Microsoft does to my system with an update, that's the way I keep it. The only thing that occasionally happens is my audio will decide to mute itself in the taskbar. Some think it's an update that can cause that but I have no clue and I have no desire to ruin a weekend trying to track it down. Any time I lose audio I've learned to look at the task bar and sure enough, it's muted itself but I'm only talking a few times a year so no biggie.
