Yes, those are variations.

RealTracks 891, has 'a' and 'b' substyle, where 'b' is more energetic than 'a'
892 is only 'a' substyle
893 is only 'b' substyle.

Variations aren't shown if you de-select Show Realtracks variations.
And variations aren't counted in the total # of RealTracks. So when we have 101 RealTracks, it is probaby 200+ including variations.

They are different feels, they may sound the same on 1 chord (like the 'C' test that you did), but in general, 'b' will be more energetic than 'a'. Try a Cm7 for example, or a regular chord progression.
