I like that stuff a lot.

I have not found any great biab style yet, but I have been looking.
Nowadays I usually start with a funk style with biab's default instrumentation/player.
From there I switch out different players for drums, bass, gtr, piano etc. Kind of one at a time.
I may load 2-3 bassists and audition each one against the band in biab.
Sometimes i'll export multi biab players of an instrument to my daw and cut/paste there.

Often I go out of genre to swap a player. Results are sometimes unpredictable if you wander far afield on crossing genres.

The results are hit/miss. There's a bit of back and forth but I usually end up with something i like.

If you use Logic, you can replace the biab drummer with the Logic Drummer in your DAW. There's a couple of threads around on how to do that. Its not too difficult. Use what the drummer creates or convert to midi and tweak till your hearts content. That at least gives you a better (imo) drum sound for the band.

Good luck
