Hi Pete
I am using Coyote Forte DXi on a Windows 7 - 64 bit without any problems - never crashed
A couple of points to check -
1. You should have Coyote Forte DXi installed on your main drive (where the OS is) so it can enter the registry - also that you have located the .dll from this drive
2. I am using MME drivers as I have had random problems with ASIO
As you mention vsc which refers to the Roland VSC DXi which will not work on 64 bit systems
