Hi JK,
Just downloaded the 100 II-V-I Major BeBop Lines. When I looked at it I realized I have backing tracks on a CD I got from a Charlie Parker Book I studied that moves in fourths just as your exercise does. I can't wait to dig into this stuff. Thank you.

Very nice, JK. I registered on your site a few days ago when I was home sick. Some kind of nasty cold virus has been going around and I got it, anyway as soon as I feel like sitting at my piano, I'll be getting into this.

Bob, thanks for the note. I am a bit off as well. Hopefully, I will get better and get the second entry of Bebop Cookbook done (about Parker's Nickname & his "Bebop Lick"...etc). Be well!

Hi JK. Wanted to say hi & thanks for all that you've done. That's a lot of work on your part, and to offer it for free is gracious. I've downloaded a lot so far & have turned some of our wind-controller forum members on to your site. Some have told me how much they've enjoyed it.
Thanks again...
Mick

Hello Mick,
Thanks very much for the note. I really appreciate it.
Additionally, I am happy to report that the new entry of Bebop Cookbook series, titled "Bebop Cookbook | Charlie Parker's Nickname & Bebop Lick," has been uploaded to the site. This post, accompanied with pdf study materials and BIAB files, talks about the origin of Parker's nickname and the usage of the Bebop Lick in his improvisations. I hope you will find it to be interesting. Thank you.
Regards,
JK

Well JDChang last posted here in the forum 11 years ago. Coincidently, I appear to be the first one to respond to his first posting. Let see if anyone has his contact info. By the way, clinking on his website is a bit scaring! Makes me want to clear my browser...

Looked for them on the Internet Archive (aka the Wayback Machine) and found his site from 2010 (year of the original post) but not the files. Here is his About Me page and links to other parts of his lapsed site.
