This is a tutorial I put together that shows how I import only "CHORDS" from MIDI files to create covers of songs I may want to sing. If you've ever listened to my covers you'll note that I'm not a big fan of doing "COPIES" of songs. Just not my thing. I'm also not into a lot of MIDI note editing. I'd rather play around with the chord structure and do the song my way. I find spending a lot of time trying to do an exact copy not worth it for me. But alas, to each his own.

The difference in importing only chords is that it allows me to play around with different styles and realtracks much more easily that importing the entire MIDI file and having to associate channels with tracks etc... There are probably a lot of you who already know how to do this but for "newbies" this can be a quick way to get started.

Comments and tips to enhance my process always welcome. As I say in my video this is how I do it. I'm sure there are other ways.
