AUBREY. HI !!
(my doctor says i cant have any more big english breakfasts after my surgury. boo hoo lol. theres a cafe in uk i liked.)
re summer.
heres a workaround, if you encounter a problem with any style.
and it will work even if you want to see what chords are in ANY SONG.
1. set up a new folder in win, name it anything you want.
test, or aubrey chord test, whatever. dont disturb the original biab files.
(dont delete anything. )
just copy into the new folder the song your interested in // demo.
in the case of summer (the song might be on the net as a demo on the pg site only, thus accessed via the net.) copy the song to your test folder.
2. open up biab. and open special , with chords, navigate to the test folder, and load the song into biab. wait a sec, and biab will figure out the chords.
now SET BAR 1. and send the chords to biab.
3. youll now see the chord sheet. you might have to make the odd adjustment.
4. now start loading in the instrumernts you want eg baritone guitar, bass, drums etc etc till you get the song sounding like the audio trak in biab.
then mute the audio trak. easy peasy.
5. if your unsure if a particular chord is right in the chord sheet compare to the audio trak.
a trick i use is to arppegiate the notes for that chord in my mind, and then go to my instrument , play the notes on my instrument.
then i play my instrument along with the original audio in the biab audio trak from whence the chords came, and then figure out any differences. then amend the chord sheet in biab.
(a chord can either be major or minor, or an extension of such.2,7,9th whatever.
flatted 13th only playable with a choc ice lol. whatever.)

remember to set the right tempo and key in biab.
in fact heres another idea for "chord figuring out".
copy any song or biab song to a test folder, play along with it, and see if you can figure out the chords before you load it into biab opening with chords feature. some of the jazz songs can be quite challenging for example. good way to learn
advanced chords etc.
on the other hand if your a chord expert this probably wont interest you.

in addition you can get numerous new song ideas this way.
go into the biab bb directories , and copy songs you like to your own folder once again (dont delete ANYTHING.)
to experiment with.
lets say you hear a chord progression you like.
(wow thats neat kind of idea, that floats my boat) but maybe its not in your preferred genre.
not a problem; load up song into biab (open with chords etc.).
THEN IN THE STYLEPICKER, try YOUR GENRES STYLES LOADED UP WITH THAT PROGRESSION YOU LIKE AS A STARTING POINT.
try midi and real trak styles.
try loading up many different instruments etc. etc. try loops. try solos etc etc. try play along melodies on your computer keyboard. try different patches in midi.
try vsti plug ins etc etc.
endless creative options to get song ideas.

hope this helps.
