With Biab you have midi chord input detection that works good !
You have a Conductor window that pretty well lets you control anything from the midi keyboard, what you can't you can use these tools to send keystrokes from your midi keyboard:
For Win MIDI2Key

http://charlie-roberts.com/midiStroke/I haven't tried Conductor for ages so I gave it another go in BB and RealBand but you don't get the Smooth Seek that you need like you can in Reaper
Biab Tracks Live Chord Input Playing In Reaper You have the different colored part markers to use for different sections A,B,C or D, so on the midi chord input it just needs to go to the random bar with the same chord name in that section depending on the current selection you are playing.
So you just create up a BB session with all the chords you will be using with lots of bars for different variations.
You can also have Holds, different Endings. You can get it to play auto fills after so many bars, so it will smooth seek to the fill for that part then back to playing.
I was looking at how you could do it at the moment in Biab with 9 different chords. In the Conductor set it to Custom and enter up to 9 bar numbers where each chord will start.
I just need to find/make a JS plugin that will translate the input of midi note chords to a single note> MIDI keys 77-86 (F6 to D7) corresponding to sections 1-10.
But hey, don't worry about going to do it now as it's the 11th hour
