Congratulations to all three of you. Fine vocal and lyric. The bass is just right and the way it solos at the end of the verses is really cool. The guitar solo sounds good with great tone. Tom

Ray had already shown himself to be a fine addition to y'all's productions and he really shines here. Love where he took the bass line.
Scott's chops and tone fit the "art rock" or perhaps psychedelic lite genre very nicely (as with the write).
Robert's vocal shines here and FWIW we feel it fits fine in the mix. Not too forward or buried.
Cool indeed.

Hi guys,
that's really different. Like it a lot. Like Floyd said, great Art Rock - a very cool collab. Love the tone of the guitar (and the playing, too, of course) and the way Robert sings. Good bass, too. A really good job, guys !
All the best,
Stefan Thanks Stephan for checking out the song. So good to hear from you. Robert will love your comments on the artist merits of the song. So glad you liked it. First thing that caught me was how UNobtrusive your guitar fills below the vocal were, Scott. Man, you guys come up with some good stuff. Excellent playing and singing. The mix was unnoticed, which means it was perfect. Very impressive craft. Loved Ray's bass. Thanks Marty for checking out the song. Thanks for your comments on the mix. Our mixes went back and forth across the world trying our best to get it right. So glad you liked the song.. A collaboration at it finest. Everything about this is just perfect.
I really liked this one! The lyrics, vocal, guitar, and bass sounds like you all are in the same room jamming away.
Love that B3 also!
Thanks Mario. I must admit I much prefer working with Ray and Robert on these song more than my own. It is so much fun to throw ideas back and forth from Northern Canada to Vancouver Island then down to Australia.

Hello Scott C,
Nice collaboration. With rather dark lyrics in the words, the arrangement fits perfectly considering the vocals. Listening, we picture the suggested environment. Pleasant composition.

Yeah! Very cool arrangement. I the way you just have the bass in there after each verse, very effective. Robert nailed the vocal (and great lyrics too), Ray is solid on the bass, and Scott .. sounds like Scott! And that is a good thing Mix also sounds good to me, I thought the vocal is sitting right where it should for this genre. Your best yet, well done! Ray did an excellent bass track. I too loved where it to some quieter sections of the song and put in the best fills. So glad you liked the song. Interesting and captivating mood. Love of course the lyrics that are so poetic and the vocal delivery which is taunting and haunting at the same time. Nice work you guys. Thanks Donna for checking out the song and your comments are very much appreciated I love this! What a cool vibe throughout! The vocal is super! You guys put out an impressive tune here! Kind of a Neil Young sounding thing IMO! Take care, T Thanks Torrey for checking out the song. So glad you active in the forum again. You were missed. Ray and I had some fun turning up the crunch and chugging along with some 5 chords. Got the odd hand cramp but was fun :-) SL+Ray, Listened to this yesterday on basic headphones, wanted to give it another spin on studio set before I reply. The things I liked: Composition is psycho-stellar! Excellent guitar (S) and bass (R) playing! Robert, vocals are one of your best, very clear not overfxd. Lyrics/phrasing A+ Couple of things to mention that you might or might not like I thought that drums are "ringing" a bit (too much high end). Also, I think bass is a bit buried. Perhaps riding it in some places, a good example 1:44 would make it more pronounced/fun. Overall, very COOL! Thank you for sharing. Misha. Thanks Misha for checking out the song. These songs are getting to be so much fun. We must of had 30 different tracks of different versions of the guitars and Robert worked very hard on the timing of the lyrics. We tried quite a few drum tracks and this one was the best. It had an alternating open high hat where I think you are hearing the ringing. We tamed it down abit with a compressor side chain but we limited as we did not what to take too much out of it

Hi guys. This is probably my favourite of yours so far. While everything works, I particularly like the little bass run at the end of the verses. Regards, Leon
