It does look easy.
I've had an annoying blue box appear out of nowhere telling me about Windows Game Bar, which I did not understand, and now I do.
In his list of files, the short video he made looked pretty large - too large to email, for example - at 96MB.

I haven't played with the Windows 10 screen recorder yet but I did download and play with the display keystroke utility.
Once you run the executable the utility sits in the taskbar hidden icons. Double click on the icon to open or right click on the icon to close. Pretty neat. It's not foolproof but it captures most keystrokes correctly.
