OP tributeman Journeyman T Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 589 uk	now Im not sure if its a computer problem or a biab problem.Ive noticed lately that songs that are generated are breaking down in the track.I also notice the cursor seems to be delayed at certain bars.Ive done a "back to factory"settings but it still happens.Ive logged on today brought up a song I had saved and its still breaking up.any advice would be most appreciated. cheers Frankie AMD Athlon 7550 dual core processor 2.51 ghz 1 87 gb ram windows 7 Ultimate yamaha rev 500 effects tacam DP-24 DAW Samson Resolv NF monitors Yamaha PSR-620 Keyboard Fender semi accoustic guitar

On my old XP machine, if I did anything while a BIAB song was playing, it would do what you are describing. If you know how to use the Windows Task Manager, you can see what is eating your CPU. R

I am running XP SP3 (3 GB RAM, Core 2 Duo), and while BIAB is generating, rendering, or saving, I try to have the computer do as little else as possible. I have had corrupted and/or screwed up files before. To be fair, this isn't just a BIAB problem -- I get it with Acid Pro and Sound Forge now and then. So I usually open a browser tab or two before the save/render, and start reading -- kinda like having magazines in the waiting room.
