John, the Korg 03Rw is an antique, came out in 1992 but it does have a GM bank. I know you've got belly button lint older than that but in the world of synths, it's an antique. No USB stuff here.

Djidoe, Rharv has it right. I used to have a T1, basically the same sounds. 32 voice which means not good for multimbral ie multi-track work like with Biab. To me it's not that good, you're better off using the included Roland DXi softsynth or the Forte softsynth for $40 but if you like it, then sure, set it up for the GM soundbank and go for it. Play with the GM sounds first then look into using other patches. You'll find one problem is with the drums, they're not GM drums except for the GM soundbank ones and it's a total pain to get them set up properly which is why you should stick to the GM bank for now.
