Problem!

1: After loading several "all MIDI" files and upon hitting either the PLAY or GENERATE button, BB sends some type of command to the Sound Canvas that lowers the volume of all MIDI tracks and the THRU track to almost zero.

2: The same thing happens when I load a MIDI/AUDIO file. (The audio tracks play normally but all MIDI track volumes are drastically reduced!).

3: In recording one chorus of a 12-bar blues melody, my THRU track and the MIDI track volumes were all reduced as soon as I hit the record button.

In all three scenarios, I sent a GM reset to the SC88 the volume levels were all restored and the files played properly until I hit the STOP button, at which time BB reduced the volume again.

The same files play normally in Real Band 2021 as they did in BB and RB 2020.

Any ideas?
