there must come a time when functionality falls off compared to the 64 bit version.

does anyone know what 64 bit RB 2021 does that 32 bit 2020 doesn't?

Correct, all development for RealBand will be 64-bit only from now on. The 32-bit version you still see in your RB folder will be whatever previous version you had installed before (2020, 2019, whichever).

I believe the Antares provided harmonizer plugin is 32 bit only.

The DX plugins are installed system-wide and can be accessed in other apps (Reaper etc). Some of those plugins are 32-bit only, but the main (useful) ones are 64-bit.

The TC Harmonizer is no longer in RealBand 2021, otherwise I believe all previous features are still there.

32-bit apps are limited to 4gb of ram. 64-bit apps are limited to 17,179,869,184gb of ram. Let me know when you have 16 exbibytes of memory, I've got some projects that could use it!
