Hi Tom,
Thanks for the nice comments and coming from someone whose music I respect, they're much appreciated.
Yes, it had to be the Tele for this one and then Eddie did us proud on the vocal - I believe he was
hoarse for days afterwards!
Cheers,

Hi Floyd,
You really are too kind with the guitar comments - many thanks indeed!
I agree about the sax RTs - don't know how I managed before.
The horns - yeah, a great sound but maybe missing that harsh edge that the trumpet
would have provided. We'll try it next time out.
Thanks again for looking in.
Best,
ROG.

ROG,

That’s some killer blues right there. The “horns” sound great and the guitar solo slays. Real fine work, gentlemen.

Best regards,

Deej

As a couple of folks who frequently post shuffle
blues (like our latest) it was easy to slide into this one.
We love the blues and especially a good ole shuffle.

Eddie was channelling a bit of Mr. Wolf on this one!

Nice performances on all of the instruments guys.

Enjoyed it you two. It was udderly good.

Hi Scott,
From a guitarist of your calibre that's a very welcome complement.
Eddie worked well with the horns and vocals on this one and takes the credit there.
Blues Bros? Can't complain at that!
Many thanks for the listen and review.
Cheers,
ROG.

BUT... did we pass the "Janice shuffle" test???

If Janice didn't do her shuffle dance, we have to consider if all the time we spent was for naught...

If Janice don't shuffle
The song you should scuttle....

Good 'old-school' blues - my favourite genre.

"...but Eddie must take the credit (blame?) for the
pun in verse three."

Most definitely 'blame'. ha ha.

I wondered when it went up how many people would notice the pun had we not deliberately spelled it "UDDERly" instead of the correct "UTTERly"....

I like it. Pun and all. The horns sound good.

Excellent blues, guys. Given the title I was expecting quite a serious tune about depression, so was a little surprised by the whimsical third verse. Nice pun, though.

Leon

Udderly amazing, ROG & Eddie. Man, I'm gonna have to try to get back my ESQ-1 from the guy who borrowed it 8 years ago. Well built blues, and a fun run.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Oh man. Was that YOU??

I have one of those too, and I usually MIDI the 3 trumpet patch with the LA Horns on the EPS sampler when I play shows. Ensoniq gear was great.
