Yes, in earlier versions of BIAB, I enjoyed using this flexible feature to display chords for Guitar or Ukulele (or other selected Fretboard). . . I haven't called PG Music Support to report the problem. I want to see if others have the similar issues or work arounds.

There is a difference between the Guitar Window settings and the Guitar Tutor settings. You can simply use the Guitar Window settings to select a Fretboard (e.g. guitar, ukulele, bass, etc) and the program will display the chords or melody for the selected track on the selected Fretboard. One of the problems I am experiencing is that even if you select a Ukulele Fretboard, the program seems to randomly switch to the Guitar Fretboard. Sometimes the chords will no longer be displayed on the Fretboard. Other times, the program will crash.

When using the Guitar Window, users have the option to select which track should be used to display chords or melody on the Fretboard. The tracks can be midi or RealTrack. In my case, I elect to have BIAB automatically select RealTracks to replace the midi tracks. Therefore, the program crashes that I am experiencing have occurred with different songs and with different RealTracks selected.

The Guitar Tutor is an added feature designed for learners to select which Fretboard and midi patch the program should use to display the chords for a selected track. Learners can also use the midi output or midi thru to practice those chords, etc. The Guitar Tutor seem to also cause the program to freeze up or crash.

Hope these details help to clarify the issue.
