OP jpettit Veteran Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 3,430 Oregon	New Features in Version 3 FASTER Audio Rendering Enhanced Rendering is faster and higher quality USEABILITY Display two chord types Export block chord and markers as a MIDI file (Useful for Studio One chord track) Alternate layout view buttons (Useful for laptops) User-friendly file names (simplifies file names in DAW) Set default style action for a new session Copy/Paste to/from Band-in-a-Box® Generate all un-generated tracks Yellow flash for status messages SYNC MODE: Change audio output channels (send to different audio channels in DAW) Change MIDI channel (send to different MIDI channels in DAW) Global bar offset for DAW sync playback Import MIDI markers and tempo map (Plugin can sync with DAW when a tempo map is used) Tempo and time signature info Studio One (latest version), Win 11 23H2 , i9 -10940X 3.3 GHz, 32GB Mem, a 4K 40" monitor, PreSonus Studio Live III Console as interface/controller. secondarily test on Reaper, Cakewalk, and S1 on Surface Pro 3 Win 10 (latest versions).

Quote: Export block chord and markers as a MIDI file (Useful for Studio One chord track) Pipeline was able to show me how this also works in Reaper. I am 95% sure that this will greatly simplify a significant workflow action by eliminating the need to go back to BIAB to get the "OutputCHs" feature. That makes my go/no go decision much easier. Thanks for the summary. Lenovo Win 10 16 gig ram, Mac mini with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2022, Realband, Harrison Mixbus 32c version 9.1324, Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app, Komplete 49 key controller.
