Hi Ezekiel,
Many thanks for the review.
I only added the cowbell after Eddie sent me the third verse!
Maybe I should have let it run on!
Cheers,

Well, just to prove how non-pro my ears are, I though the horns worked really well. But sometimes, hyper-realism isn't what's called for. There is something odd at 3:13, but only noticeable because it's so exposed.

Same things with the drums - pretty trashy and lo-fi, but what I'd expect in a blues song.

But it's blues! So I'm happy. smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi Rob,
I added the "BIG" to the Black Dog to differentiate from the Led Zep song, plus all the others
with a similar title. Glad you enjoyed this one.

We love the blues and especially a good ole shuffle.

Eddie was channelling a bit of Mr. Wolf on this one!

Nice performances on all of the instruments guys.

Enjoyed it you two. It was udderly good.

Hi there J&B,
Always appreciate a review from you.
Yeah, a shuffle blues is always acceptable - I just wish I could
sing them like Janice!
Glad you enjoyed this one.
Many thanks,

Hi Chris,
Many thanks for the kind review.
Old-school blues is what I grew up listening to and still
one of my favourites too.

HI TM,
You're absolutely right about the cowbell - should've been in the cow verse.
Another opportunity missed!

Hi David,
Yes indeed, hyper-realism isn't always the best thing for every occasion.
Some of our drum samples started out as 8bit, but I still like to use them
for some applications. The same with the horns which I imagine are 8bit as well.
Many thanks for looking in on this one.
Cheers,
ROG.
