Most licences mean you run the program on one computer at a time. So if you have 4 flatmates and all of you are using your copy the cyber-bobbies are nay yer friend.

I move my hard drive between machines, upstairs and downstairs, I did however put a copy on my largest machine which never leaves the room. The netbook has the hard drive here beside me in an easy chair and if someone has a problem or asks a question, I plug it in and run band in a box, test something, and reply, close the program and un-plug the drive.

If something seems wrong to you, it probably is. Like opening a training facility with 10 practice rooms 10 teachers and cloning yer version. NO.

I carry my copy of a novel from room to room and lose no sleep over that.....unless it's a good book.
