Out of Memory at: 006696F9. Kann ich mir nicht Vorstellen, oder hat es etwas mit 32 /64 Bit zu tun? Ich habe I7 920 Ghz mit 12 GB Ram und Windows X64 (XP Profesional) BiaB und RB sind aber 32 Bit Programme habe auch Virtuel 8 Kernel arbeite mit NI Komplet 5 und RB via VSTI B4 Akustik Piano und 1.5 E Piano ebenso via Kontackt 3 die Steicher und Bläsersätze ca. 12 Instrumente Violine al & Tremmolo; Viola dito Cello das Gleiche, Brass Trompete Solo & Ensembel Trombon auch dazu noch ein Akkordeon und ein Bandoneon via MIDI/Kontackt3 liedstimme gedoppelde Melodiestimme von BiaB einmal B4 II und einmal Kontackt3 Akkordeon& Bandoneon! Dazu ist noch ein Drumkit POP in Kontackt 3 Kanal 10 angesteuert, ach ja Bandstand ist auch Aktiv! Wollte nun noch die Backround B3 und Backing Harmonika sowie Solo Harmonika via RealTrack einrechnen lassen, PENG da war nun die Meldung Out of memory at; 006696F9. Meine Frage ist dazu nun kann es sein bei 12 GB Ram das es überhaupt dazu kommen kann eine Fehlermeldung via Out of memory zu erhalten? Ich habe doch nicht wirklich viele Instrumente da, aber wenn schon bei der Kleinen Anzahl der Instrumenten mein I7 nicht richtig Arbeitet, wie wird es dann bei 128 Sein? Wo liegt der Fehler, oder kann es sein das ich den 4/4tel als doppelder 6/8 rhytmish etwas Erweiterte? Freue mich auf Antwort LG Matze

Hi Matze,
Dein 64bit-XP ist zwar nicht auf 4 GB Speicher limitiert wie ein 32bit Betriebssystem. Es kann also Deine 12 GB vollständig adressieren.
ABER: startest Du ein 32bit-Programm läuft dieses in einem sogenannten 32bit-Teilsystem innerhalb des 64bit-Betriebssystems. Und das Teilsystem ordnet jedem laufenden Prozess wiederum nur max. 4 GB Speicher zu. Eben weil 32bit-Software nur maximal 4 GB Speicher (= 2 hoch 32) adressieren kann. Diese 4 GB werden vom Betriebssystem auch gegenüber dem Rest stark abgeschottet, damit ein Fehler im Teilsystem nicht die anderen laufenden Prozesse stören kann.
Da kann es also trotz Deines üppigen Speicherausbaus von 12 GB durchaus zu Engpässen kommen. Abhilfe schaffen hier nur 64bit-Programmversionen von BiaB oder RB. Ein 64bit Betriebssystem allein reicht nicht aus.
Auch hilft folgende Rechnung: Laufen BiaB, RB, Kontakt und Bandstand parallel als jeweils 32bit-Programme, und jedes bekommt 4 GB Adressraum zugewiesen, ergeben sich rechnerisch 4 x 4 = 16 GB - Du hast aber nur 12 GB.
Die Fehlermeldung erscheint mit also nicht unnormal.

Aber wenn nun RB Kontackt und Bandstand mit je 3 GB Bedacht sind, sind dann noch 3 GB für Akusikpiano sowie Epiano und B3II wohl Ausreichend,
Oder etwa nicht?
Jedoch wenn alle 32 Bit auf nur dieselben 4 GB zugreifen wird es schon ganz SCHNELL Dunkel!
Kann man dies seperat einstellen?
OK BiaB mit RB hatte ich schon mal auf 64 Bit Downgeloded, hatte dann danach nur Probleme!
Konnte zwar auf B3II Piano A/E sowie Pro-53 seperat zugreifen und Ansteuern, aber nicht wirklich Lange, denn irrgend wie hatte ich dann Schwierigkeiten um die RealTracks zu generieren, ist es so das RB um RealTracks zu generieren BiaB im Hintergrund vollständig Aktiviert ist, oder sind die RealTracks etwas anderes, da sie ja auf die Akkordfolgen generiert werden?
Danke erstmal für die schnelle Auskunft!

Windows selbst und seine diversen Systemprozesse brauchen ja auch Speicher, ebenso die Treiber für Soundkarte, Grafikkarte usw. , die zudem an ganz bestimmte Adressen im Speicher eingeblendet werden. Das ganze Windows-Speichermanagement ist ziemlich komplex. Mit einfachen Rechnungen wie Deine oben kommt man da nicht weit.

Die Zuteilung der Speichermenge und der Speicheradressen an die einzelnen Programme und Systemprozesse wird, soviel ich weis, über eine virtuellen Speichermanager gehandhabt, dessen Einstellungen in der Windows-Registry verändert werden können. Ich würde da aber die Finger von lassen, man macht sich i.d.R mehr kaputt als man Vorteile gewinnt. Am Ende läuft das System gar nicht mehr.

Soweit ich das sehe, braucht RB BiaB nicht im Hintergrund, um Realtracks zu generieren. Ich hatte mal RB und die Realtracks alleine auf einem USB-Stick und alles lief problemlos, ohne dass BiaB benötigt wurde. Ich denke, dass der Programmcode, der die RealTracks behandelt, sowohl in RB als auch BiaB vorhanden ist.

Soweit mir bekant ist, machen die von Dir genannten Updates aus RB und BiaB noch keine 64bit-Versionen, die beiden Programme sind auch mit Update weiterhin reine 32bit-Versionen.
Lediglich das PGM-Font-Update macht den programmeigenen Zeichensatz auf 64bit-Systemen lauffähig, da gab es vorher Probleme.
Native 64bit-Versionen von BiaB und RB, wie es sie z.B. von Cubase, Cakewalk Sonar u.a. schon gibt, bleiben also auch weiterhin auf der Wunschliste an PGMusic.
Da dann aber auch alle vorhandenen und benutzten Plugins, Fremdplugins und Schnittstellen zwingend 64bit ausgelegt sein müssen, wird das den wünschenswerten Umstieg auf 64bit erschweren und verzögern sowie für viele User wegen der notwendigen Updates ihrer übrigen (Fremd)Software auch teuer machen. 32bit-Plugins und VSTs laufen nicht mit 64bit Hosts.

Aber zumindest wird nun bald das mit den 64 Bit wohl eher Standart in Professionellen Studios!
Der Hobbyuser muss sich wohl eher an der 32 Bit etwas Länger Begnügen!

Bei deiner Rechnerausstattung mit neuestem Intel i7 (4 Kerne, 8 Threads) und 12 GB Speicherausbau wäre ggf. ein Umstieg auf Windows 7 überlegenswert.
Windows 7 nutzt diese High-End Umgebung wesentlich effektiver als das in die Jahre gekommene XP . Vor allem das Verteilen von Rechenlast auf die 4 echten und 8 virtuellen Kerne und das Speichermanagement sind bei WiN7 im Vergleich zum alten XP stark verbessert.
Gerade Dein Anwendungsszenario mit parallel laufendem BiaB, RB, Kontakt und Bandstand würde m.E. unter WIN7 besser laufen als unter XP. Der Out-of-Memory-Error könnte dann auch verschwinden. Kannst es ja erstmal probeweise parallel installieren.
Ich selber nutze BiaB und RB unter Windows 7 ohne jegliche Probleme.

Hallo Ralf, hatte ich mir auch schon Überlegt, da NI sowieso nur Win 7 basierende Neuerungen anbietet, werde ich wohl die Option Musik am PC mit win 7 auf einer Partion wohl oder übel mit win 7 64 Bit erstmal so in Kauf nehmen! Da mein Notenschreibprogamm aber nicht Win 7 Kompatibel ist werde ich nur dies im XP 32 Bitmodus weiterbetreiben! Grafik oder CAD werd ich dann vielleicht auslagern ich meine damit es wird wohl eher Zeit ein Netzwerk bei mir Aufzubauen, wäre auch eine OPTION meinen alten Via c7 als Netzwerk oder Druckerserver zu nutzen den Vista meiner Partnerin dann in 32 Bit als Inet und Office Rechner sowie dann mal noch über einen CAD/Grafikrechner den Geldbeutel etwas Wachsen lassen, vielleicht auf ein Günstiges Angebot warten. Ich habe mir für Musik eine eigene Festplattenpartition mit eigener Windowsinstallation angelegt, die ich dann boote. Die andere Bootpartition enthält dann Office, Arbeit, Spiele usw.
So kommt sich nichts ins Gehege und die Musikprogramme werden nicht durch unnötige Treiber usw. gestört.
Ein Rechner reicht also.

Ich habe ja die Musik auf D: die CAD auf E: ab und an Office auf C; & I:
würde also heißen das die D: Platte nun mit Win 7 neu Installiert werden müßte, ist dies so Richtig?

Aber Obacht! Windows XP läßt sich nicht direkt mit Windows 7 updaten. Das geht nur von Vista aus.
Windows 7 musst Du also clean installieren und danach alle Anwendungsprogramme ebenfalls neu installieren.
Das heißt: Laufwerk D formatieren (vorher Daten sichern!), Windows 7 auf das leere Laufwerk installieren, danach Programme installieren. Vorher noch unbedingt die neuesten Win7-64bit-Treiber für Soundkarte, Grafikkarte usw. im Netz besorgen.
Danach hast Du eine saubere Windows 7 (64bit) Installation ohne Ballast von Altinstallationen für Deine Musikanwendungen. Windows 7 installiert einen Bootmanager, mit dem Du bei Rechnerstart dann entweder in die alte XP-Installationen auf C: und E: oder in die neue Win7-Musik auf D: booten kannst.
Tipp: Mache Dir ein Image der frischen Installation auf D bevor Du die Programme wieder installierst.
Damit kannst Du dann bei Problemen immer wieder schnell eine neue Musik-Installation auf beliebigen Partitionen einrichten.
