I know this was brought up in the past and perhaps someone knows a way around the problem.

I have 400+ bluegrass songs using the older 16th note based styles. With the latest patch (build 809) there are newer 8th note based styles and I want to convert all of them to the new 8th based styles.

Here is the problem I am seeing. In that directory of 400 songs, I also have around 400 of various other genres such as blues, gypsy jazz, folk, rock etc..... and I can't get a style list of what is assigned to each song using a simple directory list dump from DOS (yes I still use it at times! Don't laugh)

I know I can bulk change the styles in a given directory within BIAB but in order to do that I need to get them moved and separated from the other genres and without a list to work out of, that is a very daunting task to go into song picker and look at a song and then go into file explorer and move that song and do this one song at a time. Now, once the songs are moved I can do the bulk change of styles and make them all the same without affecting the other genres. I can then use a keyboard/macro program to automatically do a song expansion and save the song. The macro will do the EDIT-SONG FORM-EXPAND (DURATIONS OF CHORDS BY 2)steps automatically on the 400 songs. The end result is the same song but using the 8th based style and having the song expanded. I can't just change the style, the existing song has to be expanded.

Is there anyway at all to export a song list that could be put into Excel like you can with the Style lists?

It not, it is much needed upgrade on the program. Song Picker shows you everything thing you need to see but cannot export into a Tab Delimited file like Style Picker can (Style-Action-Copy List to Clipboard.
