heres my method.
hope it helps someone.
when i got ultrapak 2020 last year the very first thing i did was spend a month going thru every style and sound and demo etc
by digging into the biab dir's without changeing ANYTHING.
things i liked i copied out to 2 seperate ssd's labelled FAVS.
plus several usb pen drives for back up.
THUS if a future release wipes something out or a fav, ive got my back up fav's ive built up over the years.
i even copy wma's out etc etc.

i then sort all the copied items into "genres".
so when i get a song idea i can go to the respective genre
in my back up favs. i get loads of song ideas this way.
BUT I NEVER DISTURB THE ORIGINAL BIAB DIR's.
