My all time favourite melody is Somewhere over the rainbow. There isn't automatic accompanyment anywhere that can match band in a box so I've used a couple of real tracks for my recording

StringsCustom Synth is Hi-Q 049 01 Strings, Ensemble, Chamber Sforzando

RealTracks in song: 1036:Bass, Electric, NorthernRockBallad Ev 065
RealTracks in song: 2870:Piano, Acoustic, Rhythm CelticAirDave Ev 085

The rest is played on the Tyros 5 Keyboard, with the female vocal coming from reason 10 Humana rack.

I count that as a favorite, too, Graham.

Nicely done. A good listen.

Hi, Graham !

I like the tune also
especially when we barbershoppers
sing that wonderful tag that
is written to the tune !

There´s so much nostalgia
in this tune too !:))
One of the finest tunes
ever written !

Your rendition is beautiful
Graham so let me wish you a
most Merry Christmas and
a Coronafree New Year !

Cheers
Dani

Can't say I have any idea how you do it, Graham, but your good taste and a sense of mastery is unmistakable.

Graham,

Nicely done cover of an all time great—you’ve given it a very original Celtic sound and feel to this. Love the female vocal sitting over it—nice touch! Well done!

Kind regards,

Deej

Hi Ed, I just layered the voices on the melody and used them ad lib. Glad it worked out

Thanks a million Deej, didn't mean to give it a Celtic touch, just the way I arranged it LOL

That is such a classic song. To me, it's a sad, but hopeful song.

Very nicely done my friend.

Herb Thanks so much, I adore this melody. One of the nicest song versions I've heard is from Kylie Monogue believe it or not. She has a beautiful voice if only she'd use it more. I'm currently working on an arrangement using the Yamaha Tyros 5 keyboard.
