My understanding is that 2021 can identify all of the available styles that have been made up until this time including new Styles that have recently been added.
What version of 2021 do you have (what Build?), as there have been changes recently to the Rebuild function of the Style Picker.

When you "favorited", I'm assuming that you mean adding FAV at the beginning of a style (in Stylepicker). If that's the case, can you estimate how many style you have assigned to the "Favorites" category?

In Stylepicker, if you click on the "Other" button and select "Favorites" it will isolate them for you. See image below. (Other will then turn to Fav) -- It would pay to click on "Clear" before doing this.

I have 294 favourite styles and that seems the be the limit.
I'm guessing that its time to learn about one of the other options for managing my styles.
I tested this on 2021 build 809, and I was able to save over 500 favourite styles before I gave up. In fact, I generated a list of all the styles I have and imported that list into the favourite styles picker, and was able to browse through over 7000 styles that were tagged as FAV. I think it's fair to say that the 294 favourites limit doesn't exist in 2021.

So I followed your logic and created a version of StyleFavourites.txt that contains all of my styles and there is no limit in 2020 as you also found for 2021. Every Style was correctly prefixed Fav in the Style Picker.
So it seems that what I have discovered is a bug in 2020 where a Style favourited from the Style Picker is not being correctly added to StyleFavourites.txt and so is not preserved between sessions.
Hmm, I can't seem to duplicate that in my 2020 version here (patch 734), so it may have been something that was fixed already. Which build number are you running?
