VideoTrack,
You are absolutely right about the HD. As a matter of fact I already have the SSD sitting in a drawer since a couple of weeks ago, hopefully will install it in the upcoming weeks, due to work constraints. Months ago I noticed the bottleneck of the current disk is creating.

But I have never seen boot times as short as you say. By the way, "Boot" for me is not wake up from sleep, but rather full power up (or restart), BIOS, windows loading, first login, etc. As opposed to "wake up" which is what we do with ipads, phones, Macbooks, Etc.

My laptop is super fast when it wakes from sleep; it wakes in 2 seconds flat. Actually even my new macbook air M1 takes like a two or three minutes to boot (power up or restart), but it wakes up so fast, even before the lid is fully open.

Thanks for your advise. Will share my experience when the SSD is installed.
