yes  before in BB2020 it was instantaneous, so ( when there was no change at all) you could navigate and listen quickly to wherever you wanted in a song, now you've got to wait for the whole tracks to be generated again... If that's the case, then something strange is occurring. I cannot repeat that with my system, especially if all the tracks are frozen. Perhaps consider reporting this to PG Music Support, together with a sample song that exhibits the issue.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
