use rockabilly style.
insert chord names on every bar.
insert holds for 8 bars and shots for 8 bars.
i do this every 8 bars alternating (shots and holds)
generate track on utility track.
regenerate every 8 bars with different real track
this is just for testing purposes just messing about.
move utility track to audio track
delete/erase/kill utility track?
create folder in user track.
save song as ....to the created folder.
folder then has the sgu and wav file(both same name.
open new song in bb
open style, load song demo.
open the newly created user track on empty track
inserted random shots and holds throughout the song.
i get no sound from the user track,nothing on notation windows.
but when i play the user track wav in windows it plays.
just cant get it to sound in bb.
any advice please.
rebuilt styles,songs and real tracks. win 10...amd a10 radeon r6 4c+6g 1.8ghz 64 bit hp envy biab 2023 with 1004 build. styles 1 to 429 plus extras 1,2,3,4 and 6. running as admin,cleaned up returned to factory settings.
How Biab is now if you have a hold/shot it will mute the UserTrack. It has been asked for so many years. An easier way is use Reaper with ReaTrak it will create holds n shots from the Hold n Shots file. So you generate up the normal playing by choosing the instrument and key, then do the same with the holds n shots for that instrument. So highlight the whole song or the section you want, "Choose Instrument" then "ReaTrak Selection". https://forums.cockos.com/showthread.php?p=2378054#post2378054 once the track is generated you can drag n drop it into Biab. ReaTrak will open SGU MGU.
