Rebuilding the songlist after installing 2021. Now what are these files? They won't play, and i cannot delete them, or find them manually in the appropriate folder:
Hi Andrew, i don't know (yet) ... couldn't find it. It wasn't with my 2020 installation. Also the blank songs above it seem weird, guess they came from some PG jazz stuff or the Yahoo Biab forum.
Food for the detectives: it's an mgu, so maybe an error with a melody? I tried this No Melody folder's song list rebuild in BIAB 2020, the same error, so it's not a fault with 813 IMO.
I think that is from the old Yahoo BIAB group's files. Yahoo discontinued their support of the group so it has since moved. Groups.io is the new host. Band In A Box Independent User Group if you wish to join/subscribe. They moved all the files from the old group over to the new host. I found the file when I searched for Carrylit.mgu, it was in a folder I called Real Book Band In A Box and has the same weird character title. The song does not play. I searched the groups.io site files and have yet to find it but there are a lot of zipped files there that I have not looked in yet.
My wife asked if I had seen the dog bowl. I told her I didn't even know he could.
I found the songs, but cannot remember where they came from; maybe there's a fix for the naming? -Download: No Melody song collection BIAB
The download collection from Yahoo has been fixed, original link above. PS there's a lot, also other styles than jazz, and melodies too. I'll leave the link active for a week or so, then remove the files.
