I use the TIME STRETCH / PITCH SHIFT AUDIO TRACK a lot and I notice the current version is taking a long time when pitch shifting a stereo track. About four minutes per track, sometimes longer. Oddly enough, it works in a few seconds when pitch shifting a mono track. Also odd is the fact that during the entire wait, the CPU appears to have minimal load... varying between 0 AND 7%

Most of the wait takes place while the message "2 CONSOLIDATED FILES TO PROCESS..." appears on the screen. Once that message disappears, the process wraps up pretty quickly, which suggests its the consolidation process, not the pitch shifting process bogging things down.

And speaking of the consolidation process, I have experienced a couple of situations in which the data completely disappeared from a track I was consolidating. Fortunately I was able to UNDO, then save and exit. After a fresh start it seems to work. Each time this has happened it was after an extended period of editing. Buuuuut... it shouldn't happen at all.

I'd be curious to know if anybody else is getting the same or similarly long times when pitch shifting stereo tracks.
