A further thing, Keith. Don't think you're alone with issues of getting the right outputs. I struggle constantly also, with menus that are difficult to understand, functionality that appears to deliver an outcome but doesn't, things that should just work, but don't, and much more. Lots of tolerance and experimentation is needed. At present, since updating to 2021 I can only get MIDI output from the Mixer Piano Keyboard or the Piano Roll (using the mouse), but no output when the song actually plays. I still cannot work out why. Songs with MIDI SuperTracks that performed OK in 2020 now in 2021 continue with long sustained notes, and no note-off events being delivered, creating an increasing discordant noise until stop has to be pressed. Many problems with 2021. You are not alone...  I understand your frustration.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track.
