I'm frustrated by the processing speed when regenerating a song after making minor changes and when exporting audio tracks. I use a MacBook Pro and am considering purchasing one of the new Macs with the M1 chip.
1) Will BIAB run with the new M1 chip and
2) can I expect improved processing speeds?

You may want to ask this in the Mac forum https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=39&page=1 That said, I have heard BiaB is still working on updating the app to work with the newest Mac OS, so that may come into play. /disclaimer: I don't use a Mac so the above info may be out of date

BB is not yet compatible with the new chip. Perhaps you could quantify it a bit. Choose a demo song from the StylePicker and press Generate+Play, and time how long it takes before playback starts. And/or, time how long it takes to render a specific demo song to wave using specific settings. Then we would have something to compare to...
