Using CURTISM.STY for a simple slow blues backing track. Default instruments in Mixer. The organ only plays during the second chorus with x3 chorus selected. When I use a x1 chorus selection, all the instruments play except the organ. I can't figure out how to fix this. Haven't come across any YouTube vids specifically on this.
Interesting finding. I have a suspicion. Is this specific style one of the "Xtra Style Packs"? These are styles which are customized with some deeper than usual configurations. If this is the case I am assuming the on and off playing you are reporting is exactly how the style was told to play.

Opps, turns out I have this style, it is all MIDI. Let me play with it to see if I can reproduce.
So I believe this style is working correctly (meaning it is doing what it is told to do), however I cannot confirm since this stuff is a bit beyond my paygrade.
I do see the "Style" is turning on and off who plays and when. This is an old style, circa 2011 best I can tell. Today we would expect that F5 would be used for this but the Style can also do this. As you see in the picture, the organ on Strings only is allowed to play in B-Subsections. Likewise the guitar only plays in Subsection A. Then you have the soloist which is doing its voodoo and sending harmony to the thru track.
This is the best I can do. Others may be able to explain more completely. This is a good example of the complexity of the program which leads users to the false conclusion that it is not working as they think it should.
I had no sound at all, but then checked and found that on every track the Plugins were set to None. Changing them to the default synth gave me outputs.

I believe Dan is correct and the style is performing correctly and the instruments are reacting to specific style programming. One can use the StyleMaker to modify or create customized styles but be sure to save any modifications or creations with another name other than the original style's name otherwise, the original style will be overwritten and lost. Open the StyleMaker and look at the various options to modify and save changes you make to a Style.
Note that once you've saved a new style, it's easy to use the MultiStyle tool to insert the new modified style into your song chart using Part Markers. Here's a video describing it. Band in a Box for Windows: Part Markers Overview
