I believe Dan is correct and the style is performing correctly and the instruments are reacting to specific style programming. One can use the StyleMaker to modify or create customized styles but be sure to save any modifications or creations with another name other than the original style's name otherwise, the original style will be overwritten and lost. Open the StyleMaker and look at the various options to modify and save changes you make to a Style.

Note that once you've saved a new style, it's easy to use the MultiStyle tool to insert the new modified style into your song chart using Part Markers. Here's a video describing it.
