In need of some encouragement. I received the following from his Daughter Kelly today. Please let them all know your thoughts.

Since many are asking about him and his well being, I want to give you all a current update. Dads nature,( as many of you know) is “not to burden anyone”
But I have to tell you the truth of what he’s REALLY going through,.....
The nursing facility where Dad resides has caused my beloved father undue horrendous pain on numerous occasions, but as of late I’m reaching out so that he receives the love and support he so TRULY deserves!!!!!
As a number of you KNOW to be a fact, and observed at Dads (“hootenanny”)
Dad is paralyzed and unable to move and or position himself, yet the staff at the nursing home would not provide any fall protection or barriers (stating some absurd regulations/policies that are inapplicable to DAD’S circumstances, thereby they have been unwilling to put any kind of protection in place) Saying and I quote,
“A patient has a right to FALL”
The results, as was bound to happen,
dear Dad ended up head pitching to the floor! Requiring life flight to the hospital
Requiring stitches to his head, multiple severe bruising, then sadly at the hospital they left Dad laying flat on his back for hours,( being mute he could not object) Virtually drowning in his own secretions, Because his throat is also paralyzed.
As if all of this is not enough for him to go through, after lying on his back it has allowed Covid to set up in his lungs now,.......
Through ALL of this no one would know from Dad,..... his hospice nurse sent me pictures of my BADLY battered Dad,..... yep you guessed it he’s smiling through a lot of pain, (with Covid restrictions I cannot even be physically with him
