Recently my BIAB started acting strange. When I select a style to apply to my project all the real tracks are not added to the BIAB composition, additionally the mixer frequently does not display all the instruments that are supposed to with the style and at times it combines a few instruments into 1 track (i.e. a solo and a rhythm track into 1 guitar track.) I have 2021 Ultra with the latest patches

Is it possible your song file is corrupted? Try again with a new file. You can load a demo song, save it under a new name and then practice with it.

Thanks for your response. Have tried several old files, started new projects, rebuilt database. Still does same thing Upload a BIAB file which is problematic so we can see it closely.

I just discovered that some of the missing tracks on the mixer are actually there, when you click on the "Eye" symbol it gives you the option to show or hide them (*additional tracks beyond5 or 6*) which I guess also explains how sounds are being played without being shown

I get that too. I have to go to the "eye" before all the tracks I'm using in the SGU jump into the Mixer. (I rarely use more than the old 7) I found out by trying to mute the Guitar I could see in the Mixer. It made no difference - it kept on playing even though it showed red. The penny finally dropped when I hit the "eye" to see that it was my SECOND guitar (I'd forgotten it was in there) that was actually playing. It hadn't shown in the 2021 Mixer even though the SGU was one done in 2020.
