It's possible that there's a way to avoid it, but it's also possible that it's unavoidable. You might have better luck bringing this up with the iZotope team.

Thanks Simon will try but if I remember correctly izotope simply say their plug inside aren't designed to work with PG programs. They do list a lot of DAWS but not RB. no criticism of PG as it seems to happen with cakewalk too. Will post their answer!

Good luck!

As a guess, it may be that RB and Cakewalk use a particular window mode that causes iZotope to glitch. It may even be specific to certain graphics drivers, as from what I can see not everyone is affected.

Completely useless reply from Izotope as expected. Maybe a PG approach 'developer to developer' would get further

Hello,

Thank you for contacting iZotope Customer Care! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble!

This type of behavior is most likely caused by compatibility. Since our plugins are not officially supported with PG Music RealBand, we cannot guarantee that our plugins will function normally within that DAW. We suggest all of our users use DAW/Host that has been officially supported by us.

I'm sorry for the inconvience!

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me back!

the list of supported DAWs does not include Cakewalk by Bandlab surprisingly

You can try using KV Element and just drag n drop the plugins into it, let me know if that works for you.

It expands RealBands capabilities immensely like chaining midi vsti and a 12 Channel Mixer , and reastream.dll from https://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/ will give you midi&audio sends/receives.

I'm in the process of reinstalling BIAB and RB on a new PC so haven't been able to try it, but Pipeline's solution would seem to solve the problem even though a little more complex than simply using the vsts in the normal way.

thanks pipeline!
