I get that too. I have to go to the "eye" before all the tracks I'm using in the SGU jump into the Mixer. (I rarely use more than the old 7)
I found out by trying to mute the Guitar I could see in the Mixer. It made no difference - it kept on playing even though it showed red. The penny finally dropped when I hit the "eye" to see that it was my SECOND guitar (I'd forgotten it was in there) that was actually playing. It hadn't shown in the 2021 Mixer even though the SGU was one done in 2020.
