It's catchy and fun to listen to, which is really the only important bit.

I personally don't see any issue with using loops. Well done repetition in music is always good.

I love how the instrumentation shifts to keep things interesting. I certainly didn't expect the banjo, which sounded great!

I'm curious if the counterpoint came about by design, or if it "just happened" since you worked them both out over the same progression. In either case, it sounded awesome.

The melody is good, and rhythmically interesting. The rhyme scheme of the verse - aaXb aaXb - works really well.

I listened to the song multiple times through - something I rarely do. laugh
