My last upgrade of BIAB was 2019.
I have a new computer and would like to install the 2021 version of BIAB.
Would like to purchase Pro upgrade.
Would this allow me to install on new computer without any prior version
of BIAB installed ?

Hi Danna,
You need to contact PG Music staff about this.
Down on the bottom right corner of your monitor, you'll see a blue square icon with a white speech bubble in it. If you click on that, you'll be directly hooked up to a sales assistant (if it's during work hours).

The 2021 Pro would allow you to install without having the old version installed, though depending on which version you had for 2019 you may be missing some content, if you had a higher version than Pro. Which did you have for 2019, Pro, MegaPAK, UltraPAK?

Then you should be ok with a new installation. You would also want to copy over any songs and user styles you created. Also, if you purchased any Bonus Paks or Xtra Style Paks, reinstall them.

I have found the simplest way to do this kind of thing is to copy the whole bb folder to the new computer then install the new version over the top of it. I keep everything in the bb folder, including all my song files so I know that everything including my preferences etc moves over. If you keep songs in a different folder then you would have to move them separately.

Tony’s approach makes good sense. You would not have to worry about what you already have.
