The melody is good, and rhythmically interesting. The rhyme scheme of the verse - aaXb aaXb - works really well.

The counterpoint was somewhat planned and somewhat "a happy accident". Since the chords are the same in the chorus I thought I might be able to combine some verse phrases with the chorus. I decided to try with the city names that occur and simply cut and pasted from the various spots that they occur. That worked instantly without having to manipulate anything... Thanks for mentioning it...
