And what you wrote is very true.
(regarding the topic of musical modesty: taste is very subjective, and there is little upside to overstating one's talent. It never ends well. Best thing is to do my best, put it out there, and the chips will fall where they may. I can't control anyone's opinion, but I can control what I put out there.)
I don't think I will ever overstate my talents. I like what I do, I like to learn and I know my shortcomings. But I also know my songs are not bad.
And I think that's the case with you too, but i might be wrong. Your song is just good!
