Re: your item 2. if the message is that some "drum kit sounds are not assigned" or similar, it may be that you just need to reset the drum kit.
Try this:
1: Go into Options > Midi/Audio driver setup.
2: Change the "Synthesizer/Soundcard" option from General MIDI Instrument Misc to any other option in the list.
3: Press OK and select "Yes" to the message that appears.
4: Then go back into Options > Midi/Audio driver setup.
5: Change the "Synthesizer/Soundcard" option back to General MIDI Instrument Misc.
6: Press OK and select "Yes" to the message that appears.
Let us know if that resolves, otherwise there may be another way to correct this.

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
