I almost missed this masterpiece. Excellent work here David. Super job with that EWI, you have raised the bar on that instrument. I also liked your arrangement, very well done! I appreciate that, as you're an EWI player yourself! Thanks for listening!

There is a lot going on here but I stayed engaged throughout. I think horns are the hardest thing to get right in most of the songs posted here. You have set a standard because they sound great. Nicely mixed and the composition is a wonderful listen,Tom I can't take much credit for the mix - my son did most of the hard work. But I'll let him know it was appreciated. Horns still are a bit of a mystery, but this encourages me to keep trying. Thanks!

I agree that good horns are like the gold standard in home recordings, and what David has produced here is downright inspiring. Thanks, Pat. The nice thing about using the EWI is that I don't have to worry about miking it! Plus, it's a lot easier to edit the sound than with the real thing. But I appreciate the nice words!

Love it!!! Has a wonderful free flowing sound!! Reminds me of Chuck Mangione....the kind of music that "feels so good"!! Take care. Greg Thanks, Greg!

Sounds nice. Nice arrangement and mix. This could work as a television or motion picture soundtrack. Thanks, Sean! I'm glad you liked it.

Wow... just wow! This track is so extremely well done... you set a bar so high in terms of musicality and production standards that I don't know if it is possible for me to ever reach that level. Wow! Thanks, Will! I am glad that you do it though because it is very inspiring and something that can lift ones mood those days where you feel that nothing more can be done with BiaB... well just listen to this track... and you know that much more can be done... That's how I feel about everyone else's songs on this forum.

Great changes and a really solid set of melody lines. I'm glad you said "70's" because that's what came to mind...credit music for a 70's TV movie or more arty film. Much enjoyed.

Hi David,
Man, that's a lot of tracks! Seems you managed to find space for all of them though, nice stereo spread though the studio 'phones.
Best part for me was the use of the EWI, horns sound great and totally real.
Very impressive production, enjoyed!

Wow, I haven't heard the other versions, David, but my hats off to your son if he is to get the credit for this masterful production and mix. So much good in there and it all comes out for the listener to enjoy. Really a special groove.

Well, I know I'm as deaf as a mule when it comes to commenting on technical things, but ... you know something, I liked that! Busyness and all ... in fact, especially the busyness!!! Good music, well written ... and I like the horns that little bit up front, too. Sue me ;-) - that, to me, was an excellent listen! :-)

My son's got some of those - he loves how it keeps his head warm during the mild winter season in Northern California. Glad you liked it!

Sue me ;-) - that, to me, was an excellent listen! :-) I'm a bit of a dummy when it comes to drums - especially when I'm starting a track with them. I love all those fills and such. So I pick the really busy drum tracks, and start adding other instruments. And then I wonder why there's no room for the rest of the instruments when I build up the tracks. Glad to have you stop by, thanks for the nice words.
