I’m glad to see you’ve got the oximeter. Hang in there. I know a few people who seem to have completely recovered. I wish the same for you, Tom

I guess it is to early to tell, but I do feel slightly better, at least I do not look at the ceiling for hours anymore and started to read a little... eyes still hurt smile

I am isolated in one room, with hot soup / tea delivery (by my wonderful wife) right to the door. A 5 star service!

P.S. Funny, some folks mentioned oximeter. We had one and today I received one as gift from my friend. He doesn't want it back, so now I got two. I wonder how close they are. Have to try them simultaneously.

I have two. I got them for exercise reasons. Both were pretty cheap. I tested both of them against the one at the doctor's office and they all read within one percent. I assume they must not be too hard to make based on the cost. I think most any of them would be good enough to show the kind of o2 drop that would cause you to seek medical help.

Sudden and large drops of blood oxygen levels are a prime indicator of serious issues of Coiv-19. It is a very good tool to have.

We are all hoping for a speedy recovery for you.

Billy

Best of luck on the road to recovery! I know a few people who seem to have completely recovered, but more seem to have long-term lingering effects than not so I'm hoping you're the former and not the latter!

So far.... so good here.

However, yesterday 2-10-21, I felt like someone body slammed me to the ground and had a stiff, sore neck. No energy. Kinda felt like I had a fever a few times but the thermometer showed normal or below normal temps..... slight cough periodically. Took a few tylenol and slept good last night.... today... back to normal.

Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. Had a check up appointment today, they took blood so maybe I'll see in the results in a day or two.

For those who are concerned.... Take 50mg of Zinc and 2000 units of D3 daily. From what I have seen in studies I have looked at, those 2 minerals and vitamins will inhibit the virus's ability to get into the cells somewhat and if you get it, it';s often a milder case.

There's also a place where you can get the Z-pack protocol if you are so inclined. I will provide that info to anyone who wants to know via email or DM. I'll not post it on this thread. I don't believe it violates any rules as such but, yeah... DM me if interested. Or text.

Team, thank you for support!
I finally beginning to feel myself again. Today I took a 2 mile walk in the snow covered park and it felt great after days of isolation.
Head still spins a little and I lost most of smell/taste, but that is minor stuff, just happy to be alive. I consider myself VERY lucky. Still want my shot. Mr.Fauchi mentioned something about general availability by late spring... We shall see.
I took my music laptop to the bedroom where I spend most of the time keeping away from the rest of the family and finally got around of doing some BIAB stuff. That tells me that I am on right path to recovery smile A lot of catching up to do. Rip Van Winkle syndrome.

Good to see you're back up and running close to normal Misha. I know a few people that lost their sense of taste and smell because of the virus. The good news is all of them slowly regained their senses over time.

I can attest that taking D3 helps with just about any ailment. A while back I was regularly getting some blood tests and they showed I was generally very deficient in D3, so I take around 4000 IU a day - and most people are D deficient these days as we're all isolating and not going outdoors enough.
