Congratulations Josie! I got my first jab last month. The only side effect was a bit of discomfort in the vaccine location. Not enough to call pain, just enough to be noticed if I moved my arm above the horizontal. Leilani had similar follow-up symptoms. Leilani and I got our second Moderna on Saturday. She had a little more soreness but not a problem. I had a mild case of the heebie-jeebies on Sunday, took a nap, and they were soon gone. Definitely worth the price. The way I see the worst case scenarios is: - If you get the vaccine you might have a day of feeling sick.
- If you don't get the vaccine you might die in an isolation ward not able to say good-bye to your loved ones (this almost happened to my sister-in-law but she pulled through at the last minute)
