An illness has made guitar playing almost impossible and try as I might I just could not play the solo I wanted to play, so for the first time I used Band in a Box to construct a guitar solo. I guess it is no different to getting in a session player, but a sad moment none the less. While I have used it before to construct parts for instruments I have never learned to play, this is the first time it replaces an instrument I used to be able to play. I used Volcano style with Jazz solo and used the drums, bass and rhythm. Oh! and the Hammond...Well it was there so why not. https://soundcloud.com/los-cajones/the-first-fairwell

Thanks guys. I used to have quite a distinctive sound and it is strange not to hear that. Thanks Robert, yeah it turned alright.

As I listened, I was imagining being incapable of physically playing, but how cool it would be to have a tool like BIAB to get your musical ideas out there...I think you did a really good job making the software do your work for you!
Wish you would have given the production details...wondering about the style and the unusual rhythmic sound in the background.

Sounds like you've still got music in you.
I've never attempted to play any BIAB instrument, looks like you're figuring it out.
