Dang... good stuff......

Here's how I have been doing it. Because yeah.... those cymbal crashes are just downright nasty at times when they're in the wrong place.....

So, I do much of my production work in Sonar.... I let BB and RB do their magic and then move it all to Sonar. If I find a cymbal crash to be placed in a most unfortunate place.....I find a simple non-crash drum hit.... I delete the crash, and replace it with a solid hit and audio editing copy and paste wins the day.

That was the technique I used on this recent song. The very first beat of the song.... yep, the first beat, had a cymbal crash. Nahhhhhh come on man!
