パステル/ Pastel https://youtu.be/p_9eKTJORgAこの曲は1974年頃に32小節だけ作り,TEAC A2340で録音しました。 1998年にMIDIで音源を作る際、友人のアドバイスでサビ部分16小節を加えています。サビが無くてつまらないというのが理由です。 サブドミナントで始まる曲ですが、よくわからないコードも使っています。 （多分コードブックには載っていないと思います。） 2012年にBIABで3rdバージョンを作成しています。 これは2020年8月に仕上げたものです。 構成はA―A'―B―Aで、A部分のリード楽器が奏でるメロディは リアルトラックで出力した音源を切り貼りして、この曲の主旋律に沿う様に編集しています。 A'部分とB部分はリアルトラックのpartをそのまま使っています。 This song I wrote 32 bars around 1974 and recorded to 7"reel with TEAC A2340. When I made a sound source with MIDI in 1998, I decided to add a 16-bar in the opinion of my friend. The reason is that she said the composition is boring. The song starts with a subdominant, and uses chords that I don't understand. (Maybe it's not in the codebook.) In 2012 created 3rd version with BIAB. This is the latest version completed in August 2020. The configuration is A-A'-B-A. Reed instrument played melody on the part A. Each note on the reed track is cut and pasted and edited to match the main melody of this song. The A'part and B part use the realtrack part as it is. Great Jazz chords and arrangement. The sax solo is really tasty and coherent. I could close my eyes and imagine a nice club setting, the sound is so present and inviting. Very much enjoyed.
