I came up with a 12 bar progression that I fed to BiaB. Tempo is at 85bpm. Rhythms tracks are all Real as are the solos. I did a little piano comping behind the tenor sax. As is my custom, I generated lots of complete tracks before picking and choosing all the wheres and whens within LogicExpress.

http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=135771

Here's the progression played 5 times if you want to join in:

C6/C6/Gm7/Dbm7 Gb13

FMaj7/Fm7 Bb7/Em7/A7+

Ebm7 Ab7/Dm7 G7/ Em7 Eb7/Dm7 Db7

Two bar ending starts two bars early and is C6.

NOTICE TO BIAB FORUM MEMBERS
----------------------------------------
This person has posted "Beneath The Trees", one of my own original compositions that I aired on a post here a few days ago - on his 'icompositions' site in the link above, and credited himself as the composer:-
"Beneath the Trees" by georgeptingley
This is not only bloody offensive, it is illegal and I am formally reporting him to that site's operators, and obviously to the moderator of this site.
I am seeking legal advice as to further steps I can take.

Sky,

There *might* be a mis-communication by him stating he was the writer. I think he was posting on that forum using his name there, as to where to find the song, he probably didn't realize it looks as if he is the composer. If he did it on purpose, shame on him.

Here is what he had written:

"Discovered this wonderful Strat tune on the Band-in-a-Box site (PG Music). Alan and John are on the guitars. I have contributed some piano, strings, boys choir and one reverse cymbal plus a little post production.

Alan and John hale from Warwickshire, UK
George hangs out in Point Richmond, CA "

He said he discovered the tune and where it came from. I am not trying to get into the middle of this, I read it as "where to find it-georgepitingley @ icomp etc...

It does come across as him being the writer though.

Yes, I read what he put in terms of description and it may be a genuine error.
I have told the site owners that I am prepared to allow it to remain as long as it is clearly credited as written by me.
Their administrators actually responded instantly to my complaint so hopefully this can all be resolved amicably.

John

I have sent Sky a personal apology for the confusion. iCompositions unfortunately lists all uploads as written by the uploader even when a cover. I was anxious to get some production feedback on John's beautiful piece but obviously should have gotten John's permission before uploading. Mea culpa. gpt

Beautiful results for your considerable efforts, and really enjoyed the generated bass, trumpet and sax with the great piano comping behind it...the guitar also sounded great.
